Muscle and joint pain all over the body, is either of the symptoms that is experienced by persons affected with various health conditions. Soreness and pain in the muscles occur when the body doesn’t function properly, due to whom the muscles don’t respond well and it results in muscle pain. Occasional muscle pain and joint pain shouldn’t be misinterpreted as a chronic condition. A person working out regularly and playing sports might experience such pains occasionally, for example. However, it is liable to last just for a day or two and the pain for such small duration isn’t a cause of concern. Similarly, women can experience muscle and joint pain during their menstrual cycles. Other significant symptoms of this condition include fatigue, sleeping disorders, lack of concentration, tingling and numbness in the arms and legs and headaches.
Joint pain can be caused by many reasons from moderate to serious. It can be a sign of serious disease or disorder growing in the body and can happen due to relatively benign condition like joint or muscle sprain. It can be attributed to variety of reasons such as malignancy, trauma, infections, auto-immune disorders and other abnormal processes in the body.
Hyperthyroidism-Hyperthyroidism affects the skeletal muscles (muscles connected to bones). Muscle pain caused due to hyperthyroidism could experience muscle weakness, muscle cramps and stiffness. Joint pain and stiffness are also caused due to this condition.
Inflammation-Muscle inflammation and joint inflammation also cause muscle and joint pain. Muscle inflammation or myositis can cause pain, swelling and tenderness of muscles resulting in muscle weakness and pain. Joint inflammation is commonly caused by infections or autoimmune illnesses such as arthritis and it results in severe joint pain.
Someone experiencing severe pain for a rather long duration shouldn’t ignore the condition and must consult a doctor for proper diagnosis so as to determine the actual cause Those with excess weight are more prone to be affected by muscle and joint pain, hence, it is important to keep a healthy lifestyle with maintaining a balanced diet and regular exercise. This condition can be cured if detected at an earlier stage and therefore, the symptoms shouldn’t be ignored. Ironically, the medication used to relieve inflammation can itself be a cause of joint and muscle pain, so, ensure that you inform the doctor about the consumption of such medications to check if it’s one of the causes and if it is, then the doctor can prescribe a new medicine instead.
I'm 14 years old and have multiple pains Throughout my entire body. They're excruciating. What are they?I have a pinched nerve in my neck, and my entire arm will either go numb or fall into searing pain if it's raised for too long.This is a problem as I play the trumpet. I also bruise easily on this arm. I have terrible pain in my lower back, and all my joints crack (that rhymed!). I have severe pain in my right leg (knee, hip/thigh and ankle) and can't land too hard on it, because I feel like I might pull a muscle. I also have muscle cramps in this leg almost daily, usually every other day. I get severe headaches, usually behind my eyes, and sometimes hear what sounds like a tapping or buzzing in my right ear, and often feel dizzy or tired regardless of how much sleep I've gotten (which sucks, by the way). Please help. I have no idea what the reason for any of this is, and my folks just don't seem to think any if this is enough to warrent a visit to the doctor.
The pain you have in joints and your bones could always just be because of a growth spurt. They're commonly known as growing pains. Everyone has them at some point during his or her lifetime during a growth spurt. Even i have had them. They most probably will go away in a while. However all your problems may not be related. The dizziness and tiredness regardless of how much sleep you have gotten depends however. You get dizzy and tired due to sleep deprivation. And there is such a thing as oversleeping which makes you tired as well. It also depends on how much rest you're getting for the week and not just one night. If you sleep well one night in a week your still going to be dizzy or tired because of the other 6 days you haven't slept well. In conclusion though, i think you should convice your folks to let you see a doctor at least once and ask for soloutions to your issues. My answer is based mostly on personal experience and what doctors have told me. It may be diffrent in your case. Trying to see a doctor is your best bet.
You need to get medical help. I have a friend the exact same way… so your not alone! I promise. But you need to ask someone else if your parents won't take you! (Grandparents, uncles, aunts). You need to talk to a doctor at least because they know best! Hope I could help (:
